At Villa San Crispolto it was an all American affair for one of my first trips of 2017 to Italy with Romantic Italian Weddings. Kasey and Mathew chose the beautiful location of Cortona right on the boarder of Tuscany & Umbria.

I arrived early  at Villa San Crispolto on the morning of the wedding. I never tire of driving up the stunning lavender lined drive. Villa San Crispolto has to be one of the best destination wedding venues I  have ever worked  at.  Combined with the Romantic Italian weddings team I cannot recommend it enough. The couple had travelled all the way from the USA to get married here and I  know Kasey and Mathew and their guests loved the setting.

Whilst the girls were getting ready the guys chilled by the pool and relaxed. Kaseys dress looked amazing with stunning vintage Italian style and a long vale to finish off the look. Her dad looked so proud when he saw her for the first time. It was then into a vintage car for the journey to the Town Hall in Cortona for the wedding service.

The Town Hall is an imposing building with beautiful frescos dating back hundreds of years, right in the heart of Cortona’s square.

After the short ceremony, it was a short walk for everyone to grab an Italian ice cream to cool down from the sun. Then myself and Mark from Valentina weddings took the couple for photos and video around the old streets of Cortona. Both Kasey and Mathew looked amazing in front of the camera.

The reception and meal was enjoyed sat under the Tuscan sun and as the sunset the evening party commenced in style.  It was not long before the dance floor was full and the party got into full swing. I had an amazing time at the wedding and it was a fitting start to my 2017 Italian wedding season. The video is now live on Vimeo. If you are planning your own destination wedding get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
